Q: How do I keep my cucumbers healthy and producing?

Caring for Cucumbers

• Trellis: cucumbers that grow along the ground have a higher chance of rotting and or developing fungal infections

• Thin the leaves:  clip leaves when the plant becomes to thick.  This helps encourage air flow to the plant

• Pinch the cucumber where it attaches to stem to harvest the fruit

• Do not allow cucumbers to grow to large.  They will loose much of their nutrients and become to "seedy"

• Harvest frequently to encourage new growth
